ERMES Double Roller Drop In Trigger Mech
ERMES Double Roller Drop In Trigger Mech
The ERMES Double Roller Drop In Trigger Mechanism is made entirely of steel with the Ermes roller system and lateral line release. These mechanisms are from the Double Roller line. The mechanism fits perfectly into the MVD handles, and can also be used on wooden spearguns.
The patented Mechanism operates with two rollers. One works in contact with the trigger and is tied to the release lever, the second roller, the one that holds the rod, is tied to the box with a pin and is free to move in an oval hole. This system stabilizes the output rod, the load is distributed uniformly, reducing and practically eliminating friction.
The line release interacts with the rod attachment lever with a system that all manufacturers have now recognized as the best system, and adopted worldwide. We are the inventors of this innovation, just as we were the first to adopt rotation fulcrums suitable for reducing the weight of the trigger.
The movement uses a torsion spring.
The box is copied from the original, it follows the curves, to make it we had to build a special mold, and it is made from thick sheet metal. 1.5 mm, the components are printed with thousandth precision, the holes are then reworked with centesimal reamers, to guarantee perfect rotation, the thicknesses used are 9.5 mm for the engagement lever, 6 mm for the trigger, 3, 5 mm for the line release, All details are rounded, the line release does not cut the line, the trigger has a special grip that prevents the finger from slipping when shooting.
Tested with 350 kg load. All components are made of AISI 316L stainless steel with the exception of the rod retaining roller which is in 17-4.
